In-Person Cooking Classes

Plant-Curious cooking classes are multi-sensory experiences that incorporate demonstration, Q & A, sampling, opportunities for hands-on participation, and sometimes even a full meal! We use our own organic produce whenever we can, and enjoy harvesting fresh herbs and edible flowers from the kitchen garden during the growing season. Our offerings generally fit into one of the following categories:

  • Classes We demonstrate recipes, techniques, and ingredients, sometimes with opportunities for hands-on participation.

  • Workshops Dig into a specific topic or skillset with an expert instructor.

  • Intensives A longer chunk of time dedicated to learning, cooking, eating, & community!

Thurs. 11/16, 6-7:30pm: SOUP SECRETS - BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP. Flora Brown demonstrates the recipe and shares recommended ingredients and tips for great soup, then we all eat together. Vegan & GF. $35/person. Sign up here.

SUN. 12/3, 1-4pm: HOLIDAY COOKIES! Flora Brown will lead the group in working together to become a little cookie factory, churning out a variety of classic and unique holiday cookies. You’ll bring home all the recipes and an assorted cookie platter! Hot cocoa and snacks also provided. Vegan (not GF). $80/person. Sign up here.
